SolarGPU

Private solar AI micro-nodes

Turn every surplus kWh into artificial intelligence.

Your installation stops exporting to the grid for cents and starts earning up to €3.00 for the same kilowatt-hour. The equipment is yours; we operate it and pay you every month.

The same kilowatt-hour. Only who consumes it changes.

Why?

What you get paid for a kWh is nothing.

Your utility pays cents for your surplus. We buy it from you for the same kilowatt-hour, consumed on your own premises.

How we do it

  1. 1

We place the AI micro-node where sun is already to spare

  2. 2

    The surplus becomes compute

  3. 3

We rent out the AI compute

No new grid connection and no permit: the node goes where the panel already is.

Iberdrola and other utilities Compensation for surplus exported to the grid 0.04€/kWh
SolarGPU For the same kWh, consumed at home by the node up to 3.00€/kWh

We don't invent energy: we change what the energy you already produce is used for.

How?

Private solar AI micro-nodes.

Europe's compute bottleneck is not the GPU: it is the grid connection and the lead time. We don't ask for new grid — we use what is already installed.

Traditional macro data centres

24–48 months to production
  • Requires a new grid connection
  • Adds demand to an already strained grid
  • Your data leaves your organisation

Private distributed AI micro-nodes (GPUs)

Weeks to production
  • Uses generation already installed
  • Consumes a surplus that is wasted today
  • Your data never leaves your premises

Two things a macro data centre cannot give you

Privacy

Inference happens where the data is. No need to trust a third party: there is no third party.

Macro data centre: your data travels and gets concentrated

Energy sustainability

We ask for no more grid. We consume a surplus that is exported today, right where it is generated.

What?

Let AI grow your income.

We pick the node for the surplus you have, not the other way round. You buy the equipment — it's yours and sits on your balance sheet — and from then on you just get paid.

Nodes: compute, power, rate per kWh and what the host earns
Node ComputePower Upfront cost Per kWh Per month Payback in

The rates per kWh are the average return observed in the third quarter of 2026. Your share is fixed; the amount follows demand in the compute market, which sets the price hour by hour. We review and publish it every quarter against the real market price, and each period the current rate applies. You can cancel the management service at any time without penalty: the equipment is yours and stays with you. The number in the name is the compute: catalogue PFLOPS of Sparse FP8 tensor, rounded — 0.84 gives SG1, 1.72 gives SG2, 3.44 gives SG3, 6.88 gives SG7 and 72 gives SG70. The upfront cost is shown excluding VAT, and "Payback in" is computed on that figure also for the SG1: a private individual pays €3,327.50 including VAT, but as the node's lessor recovers the €577.50 of VAT in the first year (how, in Host taxation). Under each monthly figure is the same with 5 and with 9 referred neighbours, each of whom raises your rate by one cent per kWh; in the financing tab, "left per month" is what remains of the rate after paying the loan instalment under the terms each lender publishes today; the exact instalment comes from the lender, and "from month 13" assumes the €577.50 of VAT you recover in the first year goes to paying down the loan, which is what doubles the cash flow for 84 of the 96 months.

  1. You get paid per kWh consumed

A fixed rate per kilowatt-hour, settled every month. You are paid for what the node consumes, not for us finding a customer: the commercial risk is ours.

Current rates, updated on . Your share is fixed; the amount follows demand in the compute market and is reviewed every quarter. The rate does not change for the duration of your contract.

The full table, with its date, is at Current rates. How what you earn is taxed — without registering for anything and recovering the node's VAT — at Host taxation.

  2. The equipment is yours, with a warranty

Neither rented nor loaned: it sits on your balance sheet and remains yours when the contract ends. We sell it to you, so we answer for it: three years of statutory warranty if you buy as a private individual — the European minimum is two —, claimable for up to five years from when the fault appears, and spare parts and technical service for ten years. The card manufacturer's warranty is documented with the node. We are your single point of contact: we don't send you to talk to our supplier.

  3. The financing is not ours

If you want it, you apply for the loan directly with the lender —BBVA, Younited or Cofidis— and the lender takes the risk. SolarGPU does not grant credit, takes no commission from the lender and does not process your application: we only tell you it exists. You choose with whom, or with no one. We only detail the terms for the SG1, based on the public rates of three lenders, to illustrate the potential.

  4. Zero work

A certified installer sets it up and the node configures itself when switched on. You don't administer, sell or serve customers.

It is the step from Passivhaus to Activehaus. A Passivhaus makes money by not spending: insulation, orientation, windows. It is a house that stops consuming, and that is where it ends — the ceiling of that path is zero. An Activehaus produces: the panels already generate electrons and a SolarGPU node turns them into sellable compute without you doing anything. The house stops being an expense to optimise and becomes an asset that bills, with the surplus you export to the grid today for cents.

  5. No lock-in, and no small print

The management contract has no lock-in and no exclusivity: you cancel whenever you want, without notice and without penalty, and the equipment stays with you. We can only end it by giving you 30 days' notice, while proposing at the same time that you continue at a new rate, which you accept or not. The rate does not change for the duration of your contract.

  6. Refer a neighbour and you both win

For every neighbour you bring who buys a node, your rate goes up one cent per kWh, and so does theirs — for good, with no expiry. Up to nine referrals. The reward is paid by the node that joins, not by the margin of those already in, which is why it never expires and is never reviewed.

The market

Europe doesn't have an electricity problem. It has a conversion problem.

Europe has almost as much installed capacity as the United States and a fraction of its compute. Spain, even less — with 143 GW and solar already the country's leading technology.

The United States gets almost thirteen times more compute out of every installed gigawatt than Europe. The difference is not the energy: it is what it gets turned into. A thousand SG70 nodes on roofs already built would be 1.8 % of Europe's compute, without a single new grid connection or permit.

Compute estimated from 15–20 M H100-equivalent accelerators (Epoch AI, Jan. 2026) × 3.958 PFLOPS FP8 sparse per H100 SXM (NVIDIA), split by country as in Epoch's set of AI supercomputers. Theoretical peak capacity, not sustained throughput. Spain closed 2025 with 142,558 MW installed (Red Eléctrica); its compute is an approximation, not a published figure.

How much would your roof make?

Set your monthly surplus and you'll see which nodes fit and what you would earn. The calculation is the one we use ourselves: what the node consumes is paid at its rate, and what's left you keep exporting.

The surplus is daytime, so part of the node's consumption will come from the grid outside those hours. In the firm estimate we separate the two so there are no surprises on your bill. We propose a single node, the cheapest your surplus covers, because that is where you start; below is the ceiling, how far your roof could go if you ever want to scale. Equipment prices exclude VAT.

Get your firm estimate

With these details we calculate it on your real installation, not on an average.

How it works

From the estimate to the first payment.

  1. Estimate

On your real installation: surplus, capacity and site. We tell you which node fits and what it produces, no strings attached.

  2. Online contract

Simple and by email. Signed in a minute, without travelling and without paperwork.

  3. Installation

When your node is built and available, our team installs it: about two weeks. When switched on it configures itself and goes into service.

  4. You get paid every month

We sell the compute and settle the kilowatt-hours it has consumed with you.

The app · invitation only

Your machine, every morning, in euros.

With the contract comes a single-use invitation to the SolarGPU app. When you open it, the first thing is today: the kilowatt-hours your node has delivered since 00:00 and what they return at the rate you signed. Below, the week in bars.

€6.42today = 3.21 kWh × €2.00/kWh · an SG2 · measured at the wall

  • Measured, not estimated. The metering plug counts every kWh; "=" is what gets settled and "≈" what is still to be measured.
  • Every period, with its agreement. 24 hours, 7 days, the month and since you signed; the rate, the referrals and the cap, in writing.
  • The month's statement, as a PDF. Totals and day by day, generated on your phone, ready for the accounts.
  • Refer and raise your rate. One cent per kWh for every neighbour who joins with your code, up to the cap in the agreement.
  • Only what's yours. No market prices and no one else's data: the app shows your machine, and nothing else.

Demo figures for an SG2. On iPhone via TestFlight; Android later. There is no public sign-up: you get in with the invitation.

Thirty-six seconds with a host's app: today, the week, the windows and the agreement.

For businesses

Private AI. Your model, on your node, with your data inside.

Our business nodes don't sell access to a shared model. We deploy the one you need on a dedicated node, manage it and give you a private endpoint — an AI — tailored to your needs: your data never leaves it and trains nothing for anyone. Only the sun, powering your GPUs.

  1. Private endpoint

An address to call your AI, yours alone, with the model you choose — open or your own — without sharing the GPU with anyone.

  2. Your data doesn't travel

The node is on your own premises, on Spanish soil. You know which machine runs your inference.

  3. We manage it

Deployment, updates, monitoring, security and on-call included. You consume AI; we protect it.

Internal assistants over your documentation, document extraction and classification, vision on industrial imagery, agents for a specific process. If you already have a model, we deploy it; if not, we help you choose one.

Reasonable questions

Does it consume from my surplus or from the grid?

It is designed to consume the surplus you export today, during the hours when there is one. Outside those hours the node can keep working; in the estimate we separate the two so there are no surprises on your bill.

What if the node isn't rented?

You are paid for the kilowatt-hour it consumes, not for us finding a customer. The commercial risk is ours.

Is it noisy? How big is it?

Small nodes are the size of a desktop computer and go in a utility room or a garage. Large ones need a ventilated space and are studied case by case.

As a customer, which models can I use?

Any open-weight model, and your own if you have them. We tell you what fits in each node size and at what performance.
